BalaiKamay recently took part in the Sustainability Solutions Exchange (SSX), where Design Center of the Philippines, with Laguna de Cagayan Handicrafts Association, introduced industrial and artisanal applications of bakong. This is part of their bold vision for a new design that will carve a path from a linear mode of production to a circular economy that makes good use of the finite resources of our planet and give back as much as we take from it.
